In the North East, this summer, through ticketing has been introduced for the Weardale Heritage Railway, giving you an opportunity to continue your journey along the heritage railway.
This is currently only for stations on the direct line between Saltburn and Bishop Auckland, with passengers needing to interchange at Bishop Auckland.
You can choose between any of the five stations located along the Weardale Railway route, Stanhope, Frosterley, Kingfisher Halt, Wolsingham or Witton-le-Wear.
The remaining dates for this year will include:
• July 5th,11th, 18th and 25th
• August 2nd, 15th, 30th and 31st
• September 6th

Tickets are available through Ticket offices, Ticket Vending Machines and on board, but will not be retailed online.
Tickets will includes a 10% discount compared to buying products separately and all railcard discounts are accepted.
