Back by popular demand, Medieval Mayhem returns for a second year with a full day of free, family-friendly activity.

Step into an early medieval world with Acle Re-enactment Society, and get up close to magnificent birds of prey. Get stuck into themed crafts and storytelling, and step back in time with medieval music from The Ran Tanners.

Hearty food and drink will be available throughout the day – and don’t miss Prince Bishop Bek’s Knight School Boot Camp for young adventurers.

Experience the history beneath your feet in a day packed from start to finish.

This Beacon Event is a spark in a wider programme of people, place, and possibility, brought to you by Hearth – in partnership with the Auckland Project. Thanks to generous external support, events are free to attend. For more information visit facebook.com/HearthBishopAuckland
